For outdoor time in Seoul on 9–11 October 2026, separate the Seoraeseom, Yeouido and Jamsugyo options by date. We selected programmes that overlap this weekend in Seoul Metropolitan Government’s official schedule. This is a dated guide, not a promise that the same events will run on later weekends.

Events that overlap these three days
The dates below are drawn from Seoul’s October Hangang Park festivities listing. Free admission does not cover every purchase or activity. Event operating hours are also not the running time of one concert; check the individual programme if a particular performance matters to you.
| Event and location | This weekend | Participation |
|---|---|---|
| Seoraeseom Picnic Concert · Banpo | Fri 9–Sun 11 Oct · 13:00–19:00 | On-site; free entry, some paid activities |
| Hangang Outdoor Library · Yeouido Multi Plaza | Sat 10 Oct · 13:00–20:00 | On-site; free |
| Car-Free Jamsugyo Bridge Festival · Jamsugyo/Banpo | Sun 11 Oct · 14:00–22:00 | Free entry; some programmes need registration |
Treat Yeouido and Banpo as separate outings
North is up on the schematic. Do not plan Yeouido and Banpo as adjacent event sites with an immediate walk between them. Check actual access routes for Seoraeseom and Jamsugyo too. Numbers identify locations, not a walking itinerary.
Friday: make Seoraeseom your main stop
If Friday works for you, build an afternoon around Seoraeseom. For a performance you particularly want to see, save the stage location and its specific start time, not just the event’s opening hours.
One illustrative allowance is 30 minutes to arrive and orient yourself, 90 for a programme and rest, and 30 for a snack and packing up: two and a half hours. Transit, queues and actual performance length are additional. Decide on a small mat and outer layer after checking weather and venue rules.
Saturday: bring a book to Yeouido
Save Yeouido Hangang Park Multi Plaza — 여의도한강공원 멀티플라자 — as the destination. If you have a particular book in mind, bringing it avoids relying on the languages or titles available on site.
On arrival, find a place to settle and check your route home before filling the day with activities. Read, take a short walk and decide whether to leave before evening based on the temperature and your group’s needs.
Sunday: check the conditions for the bridge programme
For Jamsugyo, confirm whether the specific activity you want requires advance registration. Free entry to an event does not guarantee a place in every individual programme.
If adding Seoraeseom, check the locations and remaining operating hours first. Choose the one programme you most want to attend so it is easier to adjust when a queue takes longer than expected.
Search beyond the station to the event area
Yeouinaru Station on Line 5 is an access point for Yeouido Hangang Park. For Banpo, check the walking approach from Express Bus Terminal Station on Lines 3, 7 and 9. Arrival at a station is not arrival at the event; include the park approach.
Seoul Tourism Organization places the Goto·Sebit Tourist Information Center on the pedestrian connection between Goto Mall’s G2 exit and Banpo Hangang Park. If you need a stair-free route or other access features, check the entrance and actual path you will use that day.
Make a final organiser check before leaving
Seoul’s listing says weather or other circumstances can change the programmes. Even on the listed date, check for cancellation, time changes and reservation conditions. If one outdoor event is cancelled, check another separately rather than assuming it is operating.
In poor weather, a nearby indoor plan can reduce unnecessary travel. Around Banpo, a meal or shopping near Express Bus Terminal, or simply returning earlier, can be alternatives. These are editorial fallback ideas, not official rain-replacement programmes.
Frequently asked questions
Does the entire fall Hangang festival take place on 9–11 October?
No. This guide selects overlapping programmes from the official page’s October Hangang Park festivities section. Do not assume the main festival and every individual event share the same dates.
Does free entry mean every activity is available without booking?
No. Some programmes can require advance registration or an additional fee. Check the particular activity you want.
Will these events run in rain?
Operation can change with the weather. This schedule is not a same-day confirmation; check the official notice immediately before leaving.
Summary
For 9–11 October 2026, choose Seoraeseom, Yeouido or Jamsugyo by the day you can visit. Times are KST, and free entry does not settle every programme’s reservation or fee requirements. Allow separately for travel between Yeouido and Banpo and check the organiser’s latest notice before leaving.
